Scavenger Hunt

Om kans te maken op deze best behoorlijk grote prijs moet je alle taken op de onderstaande lijst volbrengen vóór zaterdag 19 oktober 23.55 uur.

Hier kun je de Scavenger Hunt-lijst bekijken!

Let op!

  • Het bewijs dat je de taken hebt uitgevoerd moet gemaild worden naar het adres op de lijst.
  • Het onderwerp van de mail moet je teamnaam zijn (en echt alleen je teamnaam!)
  • Je mag verschillende mails gebruiken voor alle taken als je maar altijd dezelfde teamnaam in het onderwerp gebruikt.

Deadline: zaterdag 23.55 uur

  • De winnaar wordt willekeurig getrokken uit alle teams die voor de deadline bewijs van alle volbrachte taken hebben gemaild;
  • Het winnende team krijgt zondagochtend in alle vroegte en nog voor de voorverkoop voor 2025 begint bericht. Als je zondagochtend om 09.00 uur nog geen bericht hebt gehad, betekent het dat je helaas niet hebt gewonnen. Maar dan ben je nog steeds wel een kampioen dat je een poging hebt gewaagd natuurlijk!

Please note:

  • Proof of completed tasks must be emailed to the address on the list
  • Subject of the mail should always be just your team name and nothing else
  • You can use separate emails for all tasks as long as always put your team name in the subject of every mail.

Deadline: Saturday 23.55h

  • Winner will be randomly drawn from the teams who send in proof of all completed tasks before the deadline.
  • The winning team will be notified early Sunday morning BEFORE the presale starts. If you haven’t received an email by Sunday 09.00h, you’re sadly not a winner, but you're still the coolest person for trying of course.

LAAT JE EIGEN SHIRT BEDRUKKEN
Heb je zelf een shirt dat je wil laten bedrukken? Geen probleem! Voor €5 per ontwerp drukken we elk gewenst logo, of afbeelding op je shirt, tas of jas. Wil je 5 bands op één shirt, regelen we! Let alleen op dat de stof tegen de hitte van de pers moet kunnen, verder bedrukken we alles voor iedereen!

LET OP! In de Merch Minimart kun je alleen met pin betalen!

WACHT NIET LANG
Belangrijk om te weten: Bands bepalen zelf welke spullen ze verkopen en vooral ook wanneer ze iets verkopen. Als een band door moet naar een volgende show, kan het zijn dat ze al vroeger op de avond hun spullen meenemen. En omdat bands allemaal op verschillende momenten aankomen, verandert het aanbod steeds. Wacht daarom niet te lang met een bezoekje aan de Merch Minimart en kom regelmatig even langs om te kijken of er nieuwe spullen zijn!

BEWAARSERVICE
Geen zin om de hele avond met je aankopen rond te sjouwen? Geen probleem, de Merch Minimart biedt ook een bewaarservice zodat jij de hele avond je handen vrij hebt. Vlak voor je naar huis gaat, haal je je spullen op. Dus koop zoveel je kunt, dan kunnen de bands weer een nieuwe plaat opnemen!

EXTRA SERVICE VOOR ONZE ARTIESTEN
De Brexit heeft het voor Engelse artiesten een stuk lastiger en vooral duurder gemaakt om merchandise mee te nemen naar Left of the Dial Rotterdam. Omdat het een belangrijke bron van inkomsten is voor artiesten, hebben we een oplossing bedacht. Bands hebben ons een ontwerp gestuurd en op het festival drukken we ter plekke shirts voor de bezoekers. Dat betekent dat jouw favoriete ontwerp verkrijgbaar is in elke maat en kleur. Uiteraard gaan de opbrengsten van de T-shirts naar de betreffende artiest en hoeven bands ons niet te betalen voor deze service. Zo hoeven zij geen invoerkosten te betalen, kun jij een band steunen én gaan we verspilling tegen, want door het printen-op-bestelling-systeem blijven er geen onverkochte shirts in ons winkeltje hangen.

Do you want to bring your own shirt and have something printed on it? No problem! We charge €5 per design and we can print any desired logo or image on your shirt, bag or jacket. Even if you want 5 band logos on one shirt, we'll arrange it! Please note that the fabric must be able to withstand the heat of the press, otherwise we print anything you’d like!

Please note: at the Merch Minimart you can only pay by card.

LET ME HOLD YOUR BAG
Don't want to carry those full bags all night? Don't worry, the Merch Minimart is happy to hold on to your purchases till the end of the festival.

PLEASE NOTE:
Bands are free to sell whatever they want and, more importantly, whenever they want. If they have to leave the festival early to go to a next show, they might stop selling their merchandise long before closing time, so hurry to The Merch Minimart as soon as you can and check back a few times for new items!

AN EXTRA SERVICE FOR OUR ARTISTS
Brexit and travel restrictions have made it a lot more difficult for artists to bring merch to the festival, but Left of the Dial has the perfect solution! At the festival we will be printing band shirts to order. From all bands that have sent us a design, we will be able to print a custom T-shirt just for you in a size and colour of your choice. Naturally, all profits from the shirts will be for the artists (we don't charge them anything for this service), so support them and buy as much as you possible can!

In the Merch Minimart you can also buy Left of the Dial-merchandise, so the shop is definitely worth a visit!

Daytime Dancing (with Dancing Bears)

Ben je dol op dansen, maar kun je niet de energie opbrengen om tot diep in de nacht op een van de Left of the Dial-afterparties te blijven? Geen probleem, kom dagdansen! 

Op zaterdag draaien onze Belgische vrienden van de Dansende Beren de meest dansbare indie-plaatjes in Rotown. Tussen 14.00 en 16.00 uur kun je op de dansvloer alvast in de stemming komen voor de laatste avond van Left of the Dial.

En dan nu een zin die we nooit hadden verwacht ooit te zeggen:
De eerste 50 dansers krijgen gratis berenoren!

Do you love to dance but don't have enough energy to stay up all night for the Left of the Dial afterparties? Join us for some daytime dancing!

On Saturday our Belgian friends the Dansende Beren (meaning Dancing Bears) will spin the most danceable indie records in Rotown. Between 14.00h and 16.00h you can do some pre concert boogying to get in the mood for the last night of Left of the Dial.

And here's something we thought we'd never say:
First 50 dancers get free bear ears!

PHOTOBOOTH

Verlaat het festival niet zonder een foto te maken! Bij de ingang van Rotown vind je een heuse Left of the Dial photobooth. Fix je haar, je glimlach en neem de ​​fotostrip mee naar huis met het Left of the Dial-logo erop. Of ga voor de boemerang optie die we na het festival online delen.

Don’t leave Left of the Dial without taking a picture! At the entrance of Rotown you’ll find the Left of the Dial photobooth. Fix your hair, smile and take your photo strip home with the Left of the Dial logo. Or go for the boomerang option which we’ll share online after the festival!

THE OFFICIAL UNOFFICIAL

The Official Unofficial is een dagevenement dat plaatsvindt in Rotterdam tijdens Left of the Dial op vrijdag en zaterdag. Het heet The Official Unofficial omdat het officieel niet wordt georganiseerd door Left of the Dial, maar het festival ondersteunt The Official Unofficial wel, maar vooral promotioneel.

It’s called The Official Unofficial because officially it’s not organized by Left of the Dial, but the festival does however fully support The Official Unofficial spiritually, but mostly promotionally.

Wij vinden Rotterdam wel zo’n beetje de mooiste stad van de wereld. Oké, als je van grachten en kleine straatjes met historische gebouwen houdt, zul je de stad waarschijnlijk niet zo geweldig vinden als wij, maar Rotterdam heeft zoveel andere dingen te bieden! Het echt de moeite waard om tijdens Left of the Dial een rondje door de stad te maken. Of blijf gewoon een paar dagen langer!

De meeste toeristen gaan meteen naar de Markthal, en terecht, want het is een prachtig gebouw. Maar als je iets verder loopt naar de Botersloot en Pannekoekstraat, vind je een allemaal leuke winkeltjes, restaurants en cafés die niet bij een grote keten horen:

We feel Rotterdam is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Sure, it has its rough edges, and if you’re into canals and small streets with historical buildings you’ll probably won’t end up loving the city as much as we do. But Rotterdam has so many other things to offer, it’s really worth to plan some extra days here when you’re attending Left of the Dial!
