FAQ

We verkopen alleen passe-partouts. Daarmee krijg je drie dagen lang toegang tot alle zalen. Voor sommige special onderdelen heb je ook nog een extra ticket nodig zoals voor Bands on a Boat of Dine Like a Star. De basis is altijd het gewone ticket en je ziet op de ticketpagina altijd alleen de goedkoopst beschikbare tickets.

Als je een groepsticket koopt, krijg je 6 tickets voor de prijs van 5. Je ontvangt een PDF met 6 losse tickets, dus als je die onderling verdeelt, kan iedereen van je gezelschap komen en gaan wanneer ze willen. Verder werkt het precies hetzelfde als een normaal ticket.

Mocht iemand uit je gezelschap toch niet meer mee kunnen? Geen probleem, je kunt groepstickets ook per ticket los doorverkopen via bijvoorbeeld Ticketswap.

Een donatieticket is geen toegangsbewijs, maar hiermee ondersteun je Ticketbank, het initiatief dat concert- en festivalkaartjes beschikbaar stelt aan mensen die gebruik maken van de Voedselbank. Als je zelf niet veel te besteden hebt: voel je absoluut niet verplicht! Maar voor iedereen die het kan missen en meer wil weten over hoe je een medemuziekliefhebber kunt steunen, lees hier verder.

Kun je niet alle dagen aanwezig zijn? Maak gebruik van Sharing Is Caring: de doorgeefservice van Left of the Dial. 
Ga je op donderdag- of vrijdagavond al vroeg weg en kom je niet meer terug, meld je bij de ticketbalie op Eendrachtsplein. Ben je wat later en is de ticketbalie al gesloten, ga dan naar de Merch Minimart om je polsbandje in te leveren. Je kunt dan uit twee opties kiezen:

Optie 1
Je kunt de naam doorgeven van de persoon aan wie je het bandje overdraagt en die persoon kan op vertoon van een geldige legitimatiebewijs de volgende dag zelf het polsbandje komen ophalen bij de ticketbalie op het Eendrachtsplein.

Optie 2
Heb je helemaal niemand om je passe-partout aan door te geven, maar vind je het zonde als er geen gebruik van wordt gemaakt? Lever dan donderdag of vrijdag je polsbandje in en Left of the Dial zorgt ervoor dat het bij via Ticketbank bij een minderbedeelde muziekliefhebber terechtkomt.

Het kan natuurlijk bij de ene band drukker worden dan bij de andere. Wil je een bepaalde band absoluut 100% zeker zien? Zorg dan dat je een gratis priority-pas in je bezit krijgt!

Voor elk optreden geven we 4 priority-passen uit. Daarmee kun je zo langs de rij lopen en direct naar binnen, hoe druk het ook is. De priority-passen worden aan het begin van alle festivaldagen vergeven bij de ticketbalie op het Eendrachtsplein – alleen tijdens het eerste uur dat de kassa open is.

Eén pas per persoon en wie het eerst komt, wie het eerst maalt. Uiteraard alleen in combinatie met een geldig Left of the Dial-polsbandje. Heb je een pas bemachtigd? Dan mag je natuurlijk opnieuw in de rij gaan staan, maar je krijgt per keer echt maar één priority-pas voor één band. Je kunt alleen een prioritypas krijgen op de dag dat die specifieke band speelt. Speelt er elke dag een band waarvoor je een priority-pas wilt? Dan moet je elke dag in de rij gaan staan bij de servicebalie

Geen probleem, op deze pagina van ons ticketingbedrijf Stager kun je eenvoudig je mailadres invoeren en dan krijg je je ticket opnieuw toegestuurd. Lukt het via deze weg niet, stuur ons een mailtje en we helpen je zo snel mogelijk. Het liefst meteen met het mailadres dat je hebt gebruikt om je ticket te kopen, maar anders komen we er ook wel uit hoor!

Helaas kunnen wij geen tickets terugnemen of voor je doorverkopen, maar plaats je ticket op Ticketswap en met een beetje geluk ben je ‘m zo kwijt. Zeker als je er ‘m voor een redelijke prijs op zet. Ook als je een groepsticket hebt en er wordt iemand ziek, dan kun je één losse ticket verkopen en de rest gewoon zelf gebruiken.

Het festival vindt plaats op verschillende locaties in het centrum van Rotterdam. Zoek je een hotel in de buurt, of wil je je reis plannen? Dan is het Eendrachtsplein ’t handigste om aan te houden als centraal punt. Daar bevindt zich ook de ticketbalie waar je je ticket kunt laten scannen en omruilen voor een polsbandje.

Op donderdag begint het festival om 19.00 uur, op vrijdag en zaterdag om 16.00 uur. De zalen gaan ongeveer een kwartier voor aanvang van de eerste show open.

De ticketbalie op het Eendrachtsplein is geopend op:
Donderdag 17.00 – 22.00 uur
Vrijdag: 15.00 – 21.00 uur
Zaterdag 15.00 -21.00 uur
Meestal is het op donderdag tussen 18.00 en 19.00 uur het drukst bij de ticketbalie, dus wil je absoluut bij een van de eerste shows zijn, kom dan vroeg!

Op vrijdag en zaterdag is er ook dagprogramma met o.m. Bands on a Boat, heel veel Extra Extra’s en The Official Unofficial. Aanvangstijden en programma van deze onderdelen zullen op deze afzonderlijke pagina’s terug te vinden zijn.

De concerten eindigen uiterlijk om 01.00 uur, daarna zijn er elke avond nog    verschillende feestjes waar je tot een uur of vier kunt dansen.

De ticketbalie ligt ongeveer 10 minuten lopen vanaf Centraal Station Rotterdam. Als je je benen wilt sparen om van band naar band te rennen, kun je daar tramlijn 4 pakken, die stoppen allemaal op het Eendrachtsplein waar je je ticket moet laten scannen.

Met de auto komen raden wij je niet aan. Het is druk in de stad en parkeren is niet goedkoop. Toch echt per se met de auto reizen? Kijk hier voor de verschillende parkeeropties. 

Vanaf begin oktober publiceren we hier een printbare PDF met het blokkenschema, maar veel makkelijker is het om de Left of the Dial-app te downloaden. Hier vind je bijvoorbeeld bandbio’s, het laatste nieuws en ook het blokkenschema.

Tijdens de concerten is er geen minimum leeftijd, al moeten kinderen jonger dan 14 jaar worden begeleid door een volwassen. Voor de afterparty’s geldt een minimum leeftijd van 18 jaar. Verder is iedereen van elke leeftijd van harte welkom.

Bij Left of the Dial doen we er alles aan om ons festival zo toegankelijk mogelijk te maken voor iedereen. Doordat we een stadsfestival zijn en ons evenement op verschillende locaties plaatsvindt, kunnen we helaas niet een heel eenduidig antwoord geven op toch vrij simpele vragen als bijvoorbeeld: ‘is Left of the Dial rolstoeltoegankelijk?’

We hebben geprobeerd zoveel mogelijk informatie voor jullie te verzamelen, maar aarzel niet om contact met ons op te nemen als je toch nog een vraag hebt en/of hulp nodig hebt.

Rolstoelgebruikers
Je kunt op veel plekken zonder problemen naar binnen met je rolstoel, maar er zijn een paar locaties die door trappen minder toegankelijk zijn, of waar de speciale lift redelijk verborgen zit. Kijk op onze venue-pagina voor de meer gedetailleerde rolstoeltoegankelijkheid per zaal. Ook zie je er of er een toilet is dat rolstoeltoegankelijk is. Als je een toilet zoekt als je van de ene zaal naar de andere op weg bent, kan de Hoge Nood-app uitkomst bieden:

Blinde/visueel beperkte, of dove/slechthorende bezoekers
Op dit moment hebben we op Left of the Dial geen specifieke voorzieningen voor blinde/visueel beperkte, of dove/slechthorende bezoekers. De voornaamste reden daarvoor is eigenlijk heel simpel: er is ons nog nooit naar gevraagd en wij hebben geen idee met welke voorzieningen we jullie een plezier zouden doen. Mocht er iets zijn waardoor jouw bezoek aan Left of the Dial prettiger zou worden, of überhaupt zelfs mogelijk, laat het ons dan alsjeblieft weten via info@leftofthedial.nl!

Hoogsensitieve bezoekers
Tijdens Left of the Dial hebben we elke vierkante centimeter hard nodig om onze artiesten (en hun apparatuur!) kwijt te kunnen, waardoor we helaas geen eigen prikkelarme plek kunnen bieden aan iedereen die het festivalgeweld even wat te veel wordt. Natuurlijk kun je wel altijd de festivaldrukte uit gaan (en net zo makkelijk weer terugkomen) om even bij te komen in een van onze stadsparken, bibliotheken, of wandel ’s avonds door de rustige(re) woonwijk die achter V11 zit. 

Toegankelijkheid voor een beperkt budget
sinds 2025 werken we samen met een prachtig initiatief dat Ticketbank heet. Het is een online platform dat o.m. gratis festivaltickets beschikbaar stelt aan mensen die gebruik maken van onze lokale Voedselbank. Het is een hartverwarmende manier om te voorkomen dat deze mensen in een sociaal isolement raken en Left of the Dial steunt dit project dan ook met alle liefde. 

Als je ons wilt (en kunt!) helpen om meer tickets beschikbaar te maken voor Ticketbank, kun je een of meerdere donatietickets kopen.

Eten:
Het grote voordeel van een stadsfestival, er zitten honderden restaurants vlakbij! Maar veel gezelliger is het om met ons en de bands mee te eten, kijk bij Dine Like A Star hoe je dat doet.

Drinken:
Natuurlijk kun je in elke zaal iets drinken en drankjes zijn bijna overal met pin en/of cash te betalen (soms alleen pin), maar we werken sowieso niet met munten. Elke locatie hanteert eigen prijzen en betaalwijze, kijk op het venue-overzicht voor een indicatie van de prijzen. Hou er rekening mee dat je niet met glas/plastic bekers over straat mag. Eerst even opdrinken en dan door dus! 

We zijn niet heel moeilijk, maar er zijn wel een paar dingen waar je je aan moet houden. De belangrijkste regel is heel simpel samen te vatten: doe normaal. Daar verstaan we onder: wees vriendelijk tegen je medefestivalganger, val mensen niet lastig, maak geen spullen kapot en ga niet door optredens heen staan schreeuwen.

Uiteraard gelden ook alle andere dingen die je met een beetje gezond verstand wel kunt bedenken:

• Heb respect voor elkaar. Racistisch, fascistisch, nationalistisch, seksistisch en/of algemeen irritant gedrag is niet toegestaan;
• De organisatie behoudt zich het recht voor om iemand te allen tijde de toegang tot het festival te ontzeggen en dan vooral als je je niet aan de eerste regel houdt. In geval van twijfel of discussie heeft de festivalorganisatie, of de verantwoordelijke in kwestie altijd gelijk;
• Volg altijd de aanwijzingen van het personeel op;
• Harddrugs, wapens, zelf meegebrachte drank, huisdieren (zielig!), didgeridoo’s en vuurwerk zijn niet toegestaan;
• Met de aanschaf van een ticket of betreding van het festival, ga je automatisch akkoord met deze voorwaarden.
  
  

Geld en spullen zijn vervangbaar, je lichaam niet. Daarom willen we je graag op nog twee dingen wijzen:

• Word je lastiggevallen of voel je je onveilig? Meld het, waar je ook bent, direct aan het personeel. Iemand van de bar, de portier, een van de vrijwilligers, het maakt niet uit, iedereen staat klaar om je te helpen;
• Bescherm je oren. We verkopen oordoppen, maak daar gebruik van. Dan kun je in de toekomst ook nog van concerten genieten.

Tot slot maken wij je er graag op attent dat tijdens Left of the Dial foto- en/of video opnamen worden gemaakt die voor promotionele doeleinden worden ingezet. Dit beeldmateriaal kan een foto of een video zijn waar je individueel of in een groep herkenbaar in beeld bent. Het beeldmateriaal kan zowel via digitale kanalen -zoals social media en websites – als in geprinte vorm- zoals in het Uitagenda Rotterdam magazine of op een fysieke locatie in of rondom Rotterdam- ter promotie van één of meerdere evenementen worden gebruikt door Left of the Dial, Rotown, alsmede Stichting Rotterdam Festivals en Uitagenda Rotterdam.

Niemand! Als je op Left of the Dial wilt spelen, moet je het aanmeldformulier invullen. Dat komt ongeveer een week na het festival online en blijf tot mei geopend. We krijgen jaarlijks (ruim) meer dan duizend aanmeldingen, dus lees alsjeblieft de instructies goed door en vul alles correct in. Dat scheelt ons héél veel tijd.

(En inderdaad, we linken er expres niet naar, want als het je niet lukt om op deze site het aanmeldingsformulier te vinden, ben je waarschijnlijk ook nog niet klaar om naar Left of the Dial af te reizen…)

Mail alle details naar info@leftofthedial.nl en we zullen kijken wat we kunnen doen!

Alle kaartkopers krijgen in de week van het festival een mail met het nummer dat gebeld kan worden in geval van nood. We zetten het niet hier, zodat het nummer niet door andere mensen kan worden gebruikt, dus check je mail als je ons tijdens het festival nodig hebt.

Stuur ons in elk geval geen DM via social media, want tijdens Left of the Dial krijgen we zoveel meldingen van tags e.d. dat we je bericht heel makkelijk over het hoofd kunnen zien.

Is het geen spoedgeval, maar wil je ons gewoon iets laten weten, of heb je een klein probleem dat geen haast heeft, mail ons dan op info@leftofthedial.nl dat adres houden we tijdens het festival ook gewoon in de gaten!

Als je nog weet waar je het ongeveer kwijt bent geraakt, bel dan naar de dichtstbijzijnde zaal. Weet je niet meer waar, maar ben je iets ergens op een random plek kwijtgeraakt, wordt het  ingewikkelder. Left of the Dial vindt op heel veel plekken plaats en de kans dat iemand op straat iets vindt en dat naar ons kantoor brengt, is heel erg klein.

We zijn altijd op zoek naar enthousiaste vrijwilligers! De aanmeldingen gaan aan het einde van de zomer open, maar je kunt altijd een mailtje sturen als je al heel enthousiast bent.

Uiteraard mag je met je telefoon zoveel foto’s maken als je wilt en tag ons gerust als je ze op social media deelt, dat vinden we alleen maar leuk! Voor professionele camera’s heb je een fotopas nodig en daar geven we er niet heel van uit, omdat het voor het publiek niet fijn is als de eerste rijen gevuld zijn met fotografen. Maar mail naar info@leftofthedial.nl voor meer informatie.

Een paar weken voor het festival vind je hier op de site een kaartje, tijdens het festival hangt er bij de ticketbalie een grote banner met een kaart en je vindt er ook eentje in onze app!

Tijdens het festival hebben we elke vierkante centimeter nodig voor de bands en al hun spullen, dus we hebben geen ruimte voor lockers. In sommige zalen kun je wel iets kwijt in de garderobe en anders kun je gebruik maken van de lockers op Centraal Station.

Left of the Dial probeert zo zorgvuldig mogelijk met de wereld om te gaan. Voor een festival is dat niet altijd makkelijk; concerten verbruiken veel stroom en artiesten hebben soms geen andere keuze dan het vliegtuig te nemen. Toch proberen we op allerlei manieren een steentje bij te dragen aan duurzame samenleving:

• We houden ontzettend veel van dieren, dus al onze catering, zowel voor de artiesten als voor de medewerkers is vegan.
• Onze merchandise-service zorgt ervoor dat bands nooit met onverkochte shirts blijven zitten, alles wordt steeds op maat gemaakt. Bezoekers mogen ook hun eigen kledingartikelen meenemen om te laten bedrukken waarmee we de productie van nieuwe shirts verder proberen in te perken.
• Left of the Dial werkt met heel veel verschillende locaties samen en gelukkig zijn deze ook bewust van ons doel om zo een zo duurzaam mogelijk festival te produceren. Waar mogelijk wordt er gewerkt met groene stroom, herbruikbare waterflessen voor de artiesten en duurzame plastic glazen voor de bezoekers.
• We proberen zo min mogelijk papier te gebruiken, daarom hebben wij geen gedrukte programmaboekjes en blokkenschema’s. Alle informatie die je nodig hebt kun je op de website of in onze TMSQR app vinden.

Het meest belastende onderdeel van elk festival is meteen ook het meest onvermijdelijke: de reizen van de artiesten. Zonder artiesten geen festival en hoe graag we ook zouden willen, niet alle artiesten kunnen op de fiets komen. Waar mogelijk proberen we vliegreizen te voorkomen en we brengen de artiesten onder in duurzame hotels. Verder proberen we de artiesten zoveel mogelijk uit hun reis te laten halen: we eisen nooit exclusiviteit. Sommige festivals halen bands over alleen voor dat specifieke festival, Left of the Dial moedigt buitenlandse bands juist aan om meer shows rondom het festival te doen. Het idee is simpel: als je dan toch de reis naar Nederland maakt, verminder je CO2-afdruk dan door meteen op meerdere plekken te spelen, in plaats van daar een aparte tour van te maken. Groot voordeel is meteen ook dat nog meer mensen van die muziek kunnen genieten en dat is uiteindelijk toch waarvoor we het doen!

All general admission tickets are 3-day passe-partouts and give access to all participating venues, subject to capacity limits. For some events an additional ticket is needed, like Bands on a Boat, or Dine Like a Star, but you always also need a general admission ticket. On the ticket page we only list the lowest-priced available options. 

If you purchase a group ticket you'll receive a PDF file with 6 separate tickets, but you only pay for 5! Send all your friends their own ticket and everyone can come and go as they please.

We fully understand that some of you are also struggling to make ends meet and that a Left of the Dial ticket is already quite the expense. If so, this is clearly not for you, but, if you happen to have a little more to spend, buying a donation ticket is a perfect way to help us support Ticketbank, an online platform which offers free festival tickets to people using the services of our local food bank.

You simply buy one or more donation tickets and for every 10 donation tickets sold, we’ll put in the extra cash and donate a Left of the Dial ticket to Ticketbank.

Sharing is Caring is a service to pass on your wristband to someone else if you can’t stay for all 3 festival days.

If you’re leaving early on Thursday or Friday and you’re not planning to come back to the festival, you report to the ticket desk at Eendrachtsplein. If you’re leaving later and the ticket desk is already closed, please go to the Merch Minimart. You hand in your wristband and choose from one of these two options:

Option #1
Just leave the name of the person you'll be passing the ticket onto at the ticket desk or Merch Minimart while handing in your wristband. The only thing that person has to do, is show up to the ticket desk (not the Merch Minimart!) the next day, show a valid ID and a fresh wristband is waiting for them.

Option #2
Unable to stay all 3 Left of the Dial days, but you don’t have anyone to pass on your wristband to? Please consider handing in your wristband anyway, so we can pass it on to a less fortunate music lover with the help of the wonderful organisation Ticketbank.

If you absolutely don't want to miss your favourite band, try to get your hands on a priority pass. At each show 4 spots are reserved for holders of a priority pass for that specific concert. They can simply wave their pass and pass by the queue.

The priority passes are issued at the start of all festival days at the ticket desk at Eendrachtsplein. Note that you can choose only one band, and receive one pass per time. This means you still could get multiple passes, but you'll have to re-queue again each time after receiving one. You can only get a priority pass on the day of the show. And it goes without saying that the priority passes are only valid in combination with a wristband… 

Don’t worry, you're not the first with that problem! Just send us an email and we will help you as soon as humanly possible.

Unfortunately, we can’t refund tickets, or resell it for you, but we strongly recommend putting your ticket on Ticketswap. There are no guarantees, but chances are you get rid of that ticket fast if you ask for a fair price.

The festival takes place at various venues in the centre of Rotterdam. If you're looking for a hotel, or if you're planning your trip, it's best to take Eendrachtsplein as a central point. This is where the ticket desk is located (next to the infamous Butt Plug Gnome) and where you’ll have to pick up your wristband.

On Thursday the festival starts at 7pm, on Friday and Saturday at 4pm. The venues will open their doors 15 minutes prior to the first show of the day.

On Friday and Saturday there will be several activities during the day as well, including Bands on a Boat, lots of Extra Extras and The Official Unofficial. The gigs will end no later that 1am, at the afterparties you can dance the night away until 4am.

You can exchange your ticket for a wristband at the service desk at Eendrachtsplein:

Friday 15.00 - 21.00h
Saturday 15.00 - 21.00h

Usually, the longest queue is Thursday between 18.00 and 19.00h, so if there's an early show you definitely don't want miss, come early!

You’ll first stop we’ll be the ticket desk to pick up your wristband. The ticket desk is about a 10-minute walk from Rotterdam Central Station. You can also catch tram line 4 which stops at Eendrachtsplein.

We do not recommend coming to Rotterdam by car. The city is busy and parking is expensive. Do you really absolutely need to travel by car? Look here for the different parking options.parkeeropties. 

Early October, we'll release a printable PDF with the full schedule. But… it’s even easier to download the Left of the Dial app where you'll find band bios, the latest news, and all the stage times.

TThere are no age restrictions for the shows although kids under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, for the afterparties you must be 18 years or older..

Food:
One of the advantages of being located right in the city centre of Rotterdam, is that there are hundreds of restaurants all within walking distance, so you can basically eat any type of food imaginable. But, if you really want the full Left of the Dial experience, have dinner with us and the artists! Check out Dine Like A Star for more information.

Drinks:
Obviously, each venue has a bar. With the exception of Paradijskerk, but this church is located next to Rotown, so you can order your drink there. All venues accept PIN payments, most (but not all) also accept cash. We don’t run these venues and each has its own prices and payment methods. The one thing you should know is that it’s not allowed to take glass/plastic cups outside. Drink up first, then hit the streets!

Almost anything goes at Left of the Dial, but we're strict about a few things...

• Treat each other with respect. Racist, fascist, nationalist, sexist and/or generally annoying behaviour is not allowed;
• The organisation reserves the right to deny anyone access to the festival at any time, especially if you do not comply with the first rule. In case of doubt or discussion, the festival organisation or the person responsible is always right;
• Always follow the directions of the staff;
• Hard drugs, weapons, pets, didgeridoos and fireworks are not allowed, you're not allowed to bring your own drinks (don't worry, we have plenty to drink);
• By purchasing a ticket or entering the festival, you automatically agree to the Terms and conditions .

Also, money and possessions are replaceable, your body is not. That is why we would like to point out two more things:

• Are you being harassed or do you feel unsafe? Wherever you are, contact the staff at site immediately. Either a bartender, a bouncer, or one of our volunteers, it doesn't matter, everyone is ready to help you;
• Protect your ears. We sell earplugs, use them. You also want to enjoy concerts in the future!

No one, all you have to do is fill in an application form. We receive over 1,000 applications a year, so please read the instructions carefully, that will make our lives so much easier.
(And yes, we purposely haven’t linked to the application form, because if you can’t find it on our website, chances are you are not ready to find your way to Rotterdam either…)

All ticket buyers will receive an email prior to the festival with the emergency contact info We’re not posting it here to prevent misuse, so check your email if you need us urgently during the festival.

Please, don't send us a DM via social media! Over the Left of the Dial weekend, we get so many notifications about tags and the like that we could easily miss your message. If it's not an emergency, but you have a non-urgent question, please email us at info@leftofthedial.nl  We'll also keep an eye on that inbox even if the festival is in full swing.

If you remember approximately where you lost the item, the simplest solution is to call the nearest venue. If you lost the item somewhere random, chances are slim we will be able to help you. Left of the Dial takes place in numerous venues (that we don’t run ourselves), and it’s very unlikely that someone who finds something on the street will bring it to our office.

We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers! Please check back by the end of the summer to apply.

Of course you may take as many photos as you want with your phone and if you share them on social media, please tag us! For professional cameras you need a photo pass. We have a very limited number of photo passes available, because we don’t want to see more photographers than festivalgoers front row. Please mail to info@leftofthedial.nl for more information.

Closer to the festival we will publish a festival map on this website and in the festival app.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any facilities to store your luggage at the festival as we need every square inch to accommodate our bands and their gear. If you need to store your luggage, we recommend doing so at Central Station.

Left of the Dial cares about a safe and healthy planet and tries to handle accordingly. That’s not always easy for a festival; concerts consume a lot of power and artists sometimes have no choice but to take the plane. Nevertheless, we try to contribute to a sustainable society in all kinds of ways:

• We love animals just as much as we love music, so all our catering, both for the artists and for the employees, is vegan.
• Our merchandise service ensures that bands are never left with unsold shirts; everything is always custom made. Visitors are also allowed to bring their own clothing items to have them printed, which further limits the production of new shirts.
• Left of the Dial works with many different venues and luckily they are also on board to produce a festival that is as sustainable as possible. Where possible, we work with reusable water bottles for the artists and sustainable plastic glasses for the visitors.
• We try to use as little paper as possible, therefor we do not have printed programme booklets or set times. All info you need can be found on our website or in our TMSQR app.
• The most taxing part of any festival is also the most unavoidable: the journeys of the artists. No music festival without artists, and as much as we would like to, not all artists are a bike distance away. Where possible we try to avoid air travel and we accommodate the artists in sustainable hotels. Furthermore, we try to let the artists get as much out of their journey as the can: we never demand exclusivity. Some festivals bring over bands only for that specific festival, Left of the Dial encourages foreign bands to do more shows in our country. The idea is simple: if you make the trip to the Netherlands, reduce your carbon footprint by immediately playing in several places, instead of making a separate tour of it. A big advantage is that even more people can enjoy that music and ultimately that’s the main goal of course!
