Following a high-profile run supporting Public Image Ltd. and a standout appearance at Tramlines Festival, the band has spent the last year solidifying their reputation as a must-see live act. The group recently reached a new milestone, returning from their debut UK headline tour where they brought their raw energy to venues across the country, from Brighton all the way up to Glasgow.

Refusing to slow down, Spanish Horses are maintaining a relentless pace by dropping new singles every few months, ensuring a constant stream of output for their growing community. MAQUINA. are a Lisbon-based trio and one of the most active Portuguese bands on the European circuit. The current lineup features Halison Peres (drums and vocals), João Cavalheiro (guitar) and José Rego (bass). Over the past few years, the trio has solidified a singular sonic identity capable of drawing in diverse audiences and crossing both geographical and stylistic boundaries.

Live, MAQUINA. are renowned for their physical intensity and strong instrumental focus. Doom Fever is a three-piece guitar rock band that blends ’90s alternative and grunge with modern shoegaze. Drawing inspiration from indie acts like Teenage Fanclub, Screaming Trees, alongside modern outfits like Ovlov & Parannoul. The band is keen on fuzz-driven songs, coiled around crashing, splashing drums and lo-fi riffs punctuated by black hole feedback, yet still finding grace in the chaos.

In the fall of 2025, Doom Fever released the split EP Hevvy Fever, collaborating with US-based songwriter, Hevvy Serve, via Boston indie cassette label Candlepin Records. The EP features four tracks that lean into contrast and texture, combining dense layers of distortion with understated vocals and tight, driving rhythms, burying emotion deep in the noise: the kind that doesn’t ask to be understood, only felt.

Inspired by the freedom of a child playing an instrument for the first time – their sound is deliberately unpolished, with a sense of almost falling apart. Rough edges and unfinished thoughts are an essential part of the creative process – like sketches captured in the moment.

The debut album ‘abcde’ was quietly released on cassette in February 2025. Slowly but steadily it has been finding its audience through word-of-mouth, online radio shows and a growing live reputation with support slots for acts like Horsegirl, The Bug Club, Preoccupations and Tortoise. It has lead to a much needed vinyl edition of ‘abcde’.

Their jagged, propulsive sound manifested out of sheer accidental brilliance. Fuzzed out, feverish, and decisively droney. Fellatio became a lightning-quick word-of-mouth live sensation, spreading like a blight from Rotterdams stirring underground scene to the great beyond.

Indeed, Fellatio’s pilgrimage has only just begun.
