Doom Fever is a three-piece guitar rock band that blends ’90s alternative and grunge with modern shoegaze. Drawing inspiration from indie acts like Teenage Fanclub, Screaming Trees, alongside modern outfits like Ovlov & Parannoul. The band is keen on fuzz-driven songs, coiled around crashing, splashing drums and lo-fi riffs punctuated by black hole feedback, yet still finding grace in the chaos.
In the fall of 2025, Doom Fever released the split EP Hevvy Fever, collaborating with US-based songwriter, Hevvy Serve, via Boston indie cassette label Candlepin Records. The EP features four tracks that lean into contrast and texture, combining dense layers of distortion with understated vocals and tight, driving rhythms, burying emotion deep in the noise: the kind that doesn’t ask to be understood, only felt.
