Take a step back

Trip Westerns (UK)

"fuzzy garage rock with an irresistible twang"

For fans of: The Growlers, The Black Lips, Foxygen

Bio provided by artist:
Formed in the clearing mist of 2021, Trip Westerns are a 5 piece rock n roll outfit, based in Brighton with ’their roots comfortably buried in the soil of mid-20th century rock and R&B, intertwined with lashings of surf and psychedelia – reveling in the twangy notes of spaghetti western soundtracks (see Ennio Morricone).’ – Otis Hayes.

The band have quickly built a reputation across Brighton’s scene as one of the city’s most vivid and dizzying live acts in their brief existence, twisting the town’s famous narrow cobbled streets into a Sergio Leone desert backdrop, alongside nods to sun-soaked 60’s R&B and 21st century fuzz-drenched garage rock.

Fresh off the back of a string of European shows supporting Dead Ghosts the band continue to build on a prolific series of gigs across the UK and EU which now includes runs with stateside genre figureheads Nude Party and Night Beats, and well as dates with contemporary psychsters Hutch, Floral Image and Midnight Rodeo

Steadily accumulating a healthy range of grassroots tastemaker press support all the while, the band also have the backing of DIY, Far Out, Clunk, Hard of Hearing, Backseat Mafia, MOOF and Post-Brexit Pop behind them.
