The Jump Cuts (US)

"polished, punchy and highly energetic"

For fans of: The Strokes, The Walkmen

Bio provided by artist:
What started as ‘four guys deleting beers and blasting cigs’ in a garage evolved into what is now The Jump Cuts. Hailing from West Palm Beach, the four-piece—Max Montana Idas, Bronto Montano, Clayton Landry, and Cory Heller—blends the effortless cool of The Strokes with the high-octane grit of early Arctic Monkeys.

Their 2025 debut, What A Fun Way To Kill Some Time, captured the chaotic beauty of late-20s anxiety and mindfulness. Recorded with John Paul Pitts (Surfer Blood) at Shadetree Studio, mixed by Mark Watter (Alex G, Drug Church), and mastered by Oliver Ackermann (A Place to Bury Strangers), the eight-song record delivers a unique brand of ‘polished raw’ garage rock.

Fresh out of the studio, the band has just finished tracking their follow-up record (due early 2026). The new material promises a sound that remains infectious and punchy while leaning further into the chaos through screaming guitars and driving rhythm.
