Bio provided by artist:
The Antwerp-based songwriter Noonzy (Arnaud Stockbroekx) began his music career
in 2022 with his self-produced EP ‘Post-it-tapes’, which earned him a spot in the finals
of De Nieuwe Lichting a year later. In 2025, ‘Puppies’ ([PIAS] Recordings) was
released, in which his style evolved toward larger, groovier electronic productions that
gave his artistic identity an increasingly sharp edge. He now takes this a step further
and bids farewell to his former DIY, lo-fi approach and making room for
experimentation and a loss of control within an indie-pop framework.
His first studio album promises nothing less than that: a fascinating album that feels
familiar but with plenty to discover — alternative indie-pop songs that, in collaboration
with producer Nathan Jenkins (Bullion), breathe new life into Noonzy. The first single,
Yeah (I’m In), is set to be released on April 16, 2026.
