Bio provided by artist:
Ben Kidson might look like a pop star, but he’s not trying to be one. The South London artist is carving his own path – jagged guitars and biting, brutally honest writing about love, addiction and digital chaos. Tracks like ‘back on the apps’, ‘shiver’ and ‘mortified’ have struck a nerve online and built a fast-growing cult following, with debut EP ‘somewhere between asleep and awake’ and recent single ‘life’s relentless’ carrying the momentum. ‘shiver’ won BBC Introducing’s Tune of the Year.
He’s earned his live stripes fast – main support for The Beaches across Europe, tours with Hobo Johnson, Will Linley and Good Health Good Wealth, a headline at The Lexington that sold out three months early, a 100 Club headline this June and a Boardmasters 2026 slot. Outside music he’s fronted fashion shoots for Bryan Adams and Rankin. On stage he walks the line between gig and confession – loud, unpredictable and completely open.
