It all began in a kitchen at Södra Förstadsgatan, 229 meters northwest of Tab*o, three hours into New Year’s Day 2024. The party had peaked hours ago, but two stubborn deadbeats refused to go home. One look, one nod, one last sip of the Tuborg Grøn — and suddenly Malmø had a new noise to deal with.

With guitar riffs sharp like guillotine blades and drum fills that will interfere with your pacemaker, Fat Brain delivers the raw power of a basement show and the unpredictability of a fever dream. They don’t aim to be the loudest band in the
room — they just usually are.

Fat Brain presents sweet lyrics about dogs, the devil and Swedish wrestling. Their debut EP “Death To False Zamrock” has been irritating eardrums from Sofielund to Rådmansvången. When Fat Brain enters the stage, the unimaginable happens;
