Je hebt postpunkbands die zich bekommeren om het godganse corrupte systeem en de boel compleet slopen. Maar Treeboy & Arc is van een ander soort hout gesneden. Dit gezelschap beschouwt de poëzie van het dagelijks leven: nummers over auto-ongelukken in Polen, de wondere wereld van David Attenborough en het scheppingsverhaal. Over kleine incidenten en grote ontboezemingen: stekelig en snerpend van buiten, zacht en gevoelig vanbinnen. 

You have post-punk bands that rant and cuss about the whole goddamn corrupt system and completely dismantle everything down to some essence. But Treeboy & Arc is cut from a different kind of cloth. This bunch captures the poetry of everyday life: songs about car accidents in Poland, the wonderful world of David Attenborough and creation itself, straddling minor incidents and major outpourings: prickly and piercing on the outside, soft and sensitive on the inside.
