Het mysterieuze en ergens-uit-Engeland afkomende Splint maakt heldere en verfrissende gitaar-gedreven nummers a lá Sonic Youth’s Pinks Steam en The Sprawl. De twee singles die ze tot nu toe hebben uitgebracht, zijn verbazingwekkend goed geschreven en complex alhoewel ze zo licht als een veertje aanvoelen, gespeeld met een gemak dat muzikanten over de hele wereld jaloers zal maken.
The mysterious and somewhere-from-England-originating Splint makes bright and refreshing guitar-lead songs a la Sonic Youth’s Pink Steam or The Sprawl. The two singles they released to date are wonderfully well-written and complex although they still feel light as a feather, played with a certain ease that will make other musicians all over the world jealous.
