De drukkende, gespannen en dreigende postpunk van Scrounge is als een donderwolk, of als de dikke lucht die je ademt op een hete zomerdag. The pressing, ominous and dense post-punk of Scrounge is like a cloud of thunder, or the thick air you breath on a hot summer day. Their dark songs always feel like a threat is nearby, as the prospect of sound-violence is lurking in the bushes to swallow you whole and spit you out. Scrounge is heavy yet breathy, dark but with a light at the end of the tunnel, melodic but just raw enough to be a rough punk band.
