Goran Lautar, notable member of DIY punk/post-punk scene from Zagreb ( among many other bands, most noticable Modern Delusion ), since 2016 has been carryng on his solo project NEON LIES, exploring dark and melancholy synth territories between reworked atmospheres and minimal wave. Currently on tour to promote ”Demons” (Wave Tension Records, Cosmic Brood Records, Periphylla/Diffuse Reality 2024), Neon Lies brings to the stage a live set played entirily from a 4-track analog tape machine, with vocals and synths interwined into raw, direct sound, delivering an intense exhibition, suspended between claustrophobia and euphoria.
