In Engeland gonst het al even rondom de band cowboyy. Het viertal heeft in korte tijd een stevige live-reputatie op weten te bouwen met muziek die ondanks de invloeden van jaren 90-metalgitaren wonderbaarlijk fris klinkt. Alsof Eddie Van Halen tot The Fall is toegetreden om nummers te maken die pakkender zijn dan die van de meeste hedendaagse gitaarbands. Met hun debuut-EP Epic The Movie trokken ze de aandacht van BBC 6-dj’s én die van Left of the Dial. 

In England it has been buzzing around the band Cowboyy for a while. In a short time the fourpiece has managed to build a solid live reputation with music that sounds wonderfully fresh despite the influences of early 90s metal guitars. As if Eddie Van Halen joined The Fall to make songs that are catchier than most of today's guitar bands. With their debut EP Epic The Movie, they caught the attention of BBC 6 DJs, and of Left of the Dial.
