Bio provided by artist:
bog band are Stephen Sorensen (vocals) and Isaac Clarke (production). Formed in Dublin, Ireland, they write songs full of understated, romantic melodies with sputtering beats and fuzzy guitar, affectionately calling what they make ‘Laptop Soul.’
Mocashno Days (2025) and Vanity Project (2024) were written and recorded in various bedrooms and one tiny studio. They are built from pop memory, reassembling fragments into something uncanny and heartfelt. The Quietus described their sound as “a slick and easy blend of mellow left-field pop… (with) a rare deftness when it comes to razor-sharp modern production.”
Any explanations for the name will lead to murky territory—much like the bog. Call it a playful jab at celtic revivalism or just some mischievous misdirection.
