Waar is Left of the Dial?
Het festival vindt plaats op verschillende locaties in het centrum van Rotterdam. Zoek je een hotel, of wil je je reis plannen, dan is het Eendrachtsplein ’t handigste om aan te houden als centraal punt.
Hoe laat kan ik mijn polsbandje ophalen?
De ticketbalie op het Eendrachtsplein is geopend op:
Donderdag 17.00 – 22.00 uur
Vrijdag: 15.00 – 21.00 uur
Zaterdag 15.00 -21.00 uur
Meestal is het op donderdag tussen 18.00 en 19.00 uur het drukst bij de ticketbalie, dus wil je absoluut bij een van de eerste shows zijn, kom dan vroeg!
Vanaf hoe laat is Left of the Dial?
Op donderdag begint het festival om 19.00 uur, op vrijdag en zaterdag om 16.00 uur. De zalen gaan ongeveer een kwartier voor aanvang van de eerste show open. Op vrijdag en zaterdag is er ook dagprogramma met o.m. Bands on a Boat, heel veel Extra Extra’s en The Official Unofficial. De concerten eindigen uiterlijk om 01.00 uur, daarna zijn er elke avond nog verschillende feestjes waar je tot een uur of vier kunt dansen.
Hoe is het festival bereikbaar?
De ticketbalie ligt ongeveer 10 minuten lopen vanaf Centraal Station Rotterdam. Als je je benen wilt sparen om van band naar band te rennen, kun je ook tramlijn 4, 6 of 8 pakken, die stoppen allemaal op het Eendrachtsplein
Met de auto komen raden wij je niet aan. Het is druk in de stad en parkeren is niet goedkoop. Toch echt per se met de auto reizen? Kijk hier voor de verschillende parkeeropties.
Is Left of the Dial toegankelijk voor rolstoelen?
Je kunt op veel plekken zonder problemen naar binnen met je rolstoel, maar er zijn een paar locaties die door trappen minder toegankelijk zijn, of waar de speciale lift redelijk verborgen zit. We hebben een overzicht gemaakt van alle locaties, deze vind je hier. Vermoed je dat dat je bezoek aan Left of the Dial moeilijk kan maken? Mail ons en wij zorgen dat er iemand klaar staat om je te helpen!
Geldt er een minimum leeftijd?
Tijdens de concerten is er geen minimum leeftijd, voor de afterparty’s moet je minimaal 18 jaar zijn. Verder is iedereen van elke leeftijd van harte welkom!
Hebben jullie lockers?
Helaas hebben we elke vierkante centimeter nodig om alle artiesten en vooral al hun spullen een plek te geven, dus er zijn geen lockers. Heb je tassen die je niet het hele festival bij je wil dragen? Maak dan gebruik van de lockers op Centraal Station.
TICKETS
Mijn printer is kapot! Kom ik nu wel binnen?
Geen probleem, als je je kaartje op je telefoon hebt staan, kunnen we het gewoon scannen. Zet het scherm op maximale helderheid, dan gaat het ’t snelst.
Ik ben mijn ticket kwijt, wat nu?
Dat overkomt de beste, geen zorgen, stuur ons even een mailtje en dan we helpen je zo snel mogelijk!
Moet je met een groepsticket allemaal tegelijk bij de ticketbalie zijn?
Nee, als je een groepsticket koopt, krijg je een PDF met 6 losse tickets. Als je die onderling verdeelt, kan iedereen van je gezelschap komen en gaan wanneer ze willen.
Ik heb een ticket over, wat nu?
Plaats je ticket op Ticketswap en de kans is groot dat je ‘m zo kwijt bent. Ook als je een groepsticket hebt, kun je één losse ticket verkopen en de rest zelf gebruiken.
Is het veilig om een passe-partout via Ticketswap te kopen?
Ja! Mochten de passe-partouts via onze site uitverkocht zijn, kun je met een gerust hart via Ticketswap proberen een kaartje te bemachtigen. Ticketswap gebruikt Secure Swap waarmee het oude ticket van de verkoper ongeldig wordt gemaakt en een geheel nieuw ticket naar de koper wordt gestuurd. Bovendien ben je zo verzekerd van een eerlijke prijs. Koop alsjeblieft alleen kaarten via onze website, of via Ticketswap, zodat je zeker weet dat je een geldige passe-partout koopt.
ETEN & DRINKEN
Hoe kan ik mijn drankjes betalen?
Je kunt je drankjes bijna overal met pin of cash betalen, we werken niet met munten. Elke locatie hanteert eigen prijzen en betaalwijze.
Mag ik mijn drankje meenemen van de ene locatie naar de andere?
Nee, je mag niet met glas/plastic bekers over straat. Eerst even opdrinken en dan door dus!
Waar kan ik eten tijdens Left of the Dial?
Er zitten honderden restaurants in het centrum van Rotterdam, maar beter eet je met ons mee! Kijk bij Dine Like A Star hoe je dat doet.
OVERIG
Mag ik foto’s maken tijdens Left of the Dial?
Uiteraard mag je met je telefoon zoveel foto’s maken als je wilt en vergeet ze niet op social media te delen met #lotd25! Voor professionele camera’s heb je een fotopas nodig. Mail naar info@leftofthedial.nl voor meer informatie.
Ik wil spelen op Left of the Dial, kan dat?
De artiestenaanmeldingen voor 2025 zijn gesloten, in november komt het formulier om je aan te melden voor Left of the Dial 2026 online!
Kan ik ergens mee helpen tijdens Left of the Dial?
We zijn altijd op zoek naar enthousiaste vrijwilligers! De aanmeldingen gaan aan het einde van de zomer open, maar je kunt altijd een mailtje sturen als je al heel enthousiast bent.

GENERAL
Where is Left of the Dial?
The festival takes place at various venues in the center of Rotterdam. If you're looking for a hotel, or if you're planning your trip, it's best to keep Eendrachtsplein as central point.
At what time does Left of the Dial start?
On Thursday the festival starts at 7pm, on Friday and Saturday at 4pm. The venues will open their doors 15 minutes prior to the first show of the day. On Friday and Saturday there will be several activities during the day as well, including Bands on a Boat, lots of Extra Extras and The Official Unofficial. All shows will end no later that 1am, at the afterparties you can dance the night away until 4am.
When can I exchange my ticket for a wristband?
You can exchange your ticket for a wristband at the service desk at Eendrachtsplein:
Thursday 17.00 - 22.00h
Friday 15.00 - 21.00h
Saturday 15.00 - 21.00h
Usually, the longest queue is Thursday between 18.00 and 19.00h, so if there's an early show you definitely don't want miss, come early!
How to get to the festival?
The service desk is about a 10-minute walk from Rotterdam Central Station. You can also catch tram lines 4, 6 or 8 which all stop at Eendrachtsplein.
We do not recommend coming to Rotterdam by car. The city is busy and parking is expensive. Do you really absolutely need to travel by car? Look here for the different parking options.
Is Left of the Dial wheelchair accessible?
You can get in with your wheelchair without any problems at most venues, but there are a few locations that are less accessible due to stairs, or where the special elevator is fairly hidden. Check the Venues page for more info. Do you suspect that might make your visit to Left of the Dial difficult? Mail us and we'll make sure someone is waiting for you to help!
Are there any age restrictions?
There are no age restrictions for the shows, for the afterparties you must be 18 years or older.
Do you have lockers to store my luggage?
Unfortunately, we don’t have any facilities to store your luggage at the festival as we need every square inch to accommodate our bands and their gear. If you need to store your luggage, we recommend doing so at Central Station.
TICKETS
My printer is broken! Is my life over now?
No problem, if you have your ticket on your phone, we can just scan it. Set the screen to maximum brightness, and you’ll be scanned and on your way in no time!
I lost my ticket, can you help me?
Don’t worry, you're not the first with that problem! Just send us an email and we will help you as soon as humanly possible.
Does a group ticket mean you all have to enter the festival at the same time?
No, if you purchase a group ticket you'll receive a PDF file with 6 seperate tickets, so everyone can come and go as they please!
I have a spare ticket, how do I sell it?
If you want to resell your ticket, we strongly advice using Ticketswap.
Is it safe to buy a Left of the Dial ticket on Ticketswap?
Yes! If you see the sold out sign on our website, you can always check Ticketswap to see if someone is re-selling their ticket. Ticketswap uses Secure Swap which invalidates a seller's old ticket and sends a brand new ticket to the buyer. Moreover, you are assured of a fair price. Please only purchase tickets through this website, or Ticketswap, so you’re 100% sure you’re buying a valid ticket.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES
How do I pay for my drinks/food?
You can pay for your drinks everywhere with pin, and almost all venues also accept cash. Each location has its own prices and payment method.
Can I take my drink from one location to another?
No, you are not allowed on the street with glass/plastic cups. Drink up first, then hit the streets!
Where can I eat during Left of the Dial?
There are a lot of restaurants in the center of Rotterdam, but you better eat with us! Check out Dine Like A Star for more information.
OTHER
Can I take pictures during Left of the Dial?
Of course you can take as many photos as you want with your phone and don't forget to share them on social media with #lotd23! For professional cameras you need a photo pass. Mail to info@leftofthedial.nl for more information.
Can you please book my band?
The artist applications for 2025 are closed, please check back in November for the application form for Left of the Dial 2026.
Is there anything I can do to help you guys during the festival?
