Bio provided by artist:
Web are an experimental 4-piece who have been stirring up a cacophony of frantic post-rock, catchy grunge and “crank wave” across London’s tastemaker music venues, becoming mainstays at The Windmill, Shacklewell Arms and George Tavern. Their dark, visceral sound combines thrashing drums and guitar, haunting vocals and piercing flute lines, eschewing typical song forms in favour of clever time signatures and collective improvisation.
Their sound was born out of the minds of brothers Lucas and Kristian Eveleigh, who grew up in
Portsmouth sharing a love of the south coast hardcore scene and US grunge. Here, they recruited drummer Ben Roe and garnered a special reputation for their explosive and hypnotising live set – often playing completely experimental jams as well as chopping up songs mid-set. Now based in London, they met flautist Kathryn Reed at a show in 2023 and haven’t looked back since.
Web are Kristian Eveleigh (vocals), Lucas Eveleigh (guitar), Ben Roe (drums) and Kathryn Reed (flute).
